Dear fans and newcomers to the BLOWIN' SMOKE Rhythm & Blues website. I'd like to apologize to everyone for not keeping our performance schedule up-to-date. In the last 12 months, I have had to undergo two major surgeries, the latest taking place on Dec. 18, 2001, which was lower back surgery. I am recovering very well but it was extensive work on two herniated discs and three lower vertebrae. I suffered the injury in Sept. and put up with great pain during our gigs right up until our last performance on Dec. 15. Now that I am recovering I will be making every effort to up-date our performance schedule on a current basis and really add new and interesting information to the web-site. I am also planning on releasing two NEW CD's this year. One for Blowin' Smoke and the other will be a solo blues CD of my own.

Our next performance will be at HARVELLE's Blues Club and quite frankly, that will be a test for me personally to see how well I am recovering my lower back strength.
